Accessibility Statement for Awaken Counselling & Therapy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
At Awaken Counselling & Therapy, I believe that everyone should be able to access information about counselling and mental health support with ease. I am committed to making this website as accessible and inclusive as possible for all visitors.
My Commitment
I aim to ensure this website is accessible to people of all abilities by:
Using clear, easy-to-read language.
Providing a simple and consistent website layout.
Using colours with good contrast to improve readability.
Making text easy to resize using your browser settings.
Ensuring the website can be navigated using a keyboard where possible.
Using descriptive headings to help screen readers and navigation.
Online Counselling Accessibility
As I currently provide online and telephone counselling, I am happy to discuss any adjustments that may help make counselling more accessible to you.
Reasonable adjustments may include:
Telephone counselling instead of video sessions.
Flexible appointment times where possible.
Sharing written information before or after sessions if appropriate.
Allowing extra time during sessions where needed.
Working collaboratively to meet your individual communication needs.

I am continually working to improve the accessibility of this website.
